We need to break out of our hypnotic rhythm! Our stagnation, complacency, boring repetition and even laziness is robbing us of our lives. Robbing us of the very essence of dynamic focused energy.

DAYS, MONTHS, YEARS DRIFT BY BEFORE OUR VERY EYES

DAYS, MONTHS, YEARSWe look around at our friends, family and most of the population in our country and see everyone letting life slip by.  What enables this?  Inaction!  Why wouldn’t I, everyone else was. One day I said:

“Not me! I’ve had enough of watching my life dripping away, drip by drip, draining me until there is nothing left. I feel dead, even though I am breathing and walking around, I might just as well be dead and gone.”

WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO ABOUT IT?

Basically, get off our butts and take action. Inside of all of us is a “go-getter, a mover and shaker”.  Inside of all of us is massive enthusiasm, dynamic energy that is laying dormant. Why is it laying dormant? Because we don’t give ourselves anything to be excited about, to be passionate about, to want to achieve before we die.

Firstly, we need to reignite our movers and shakers, our go-getters, and I am reaching out to you today, to help you overcome obstacles that are keeping us in stagnation, boring repetition and keeping us stuck in a mediocre life. DOES LAW ATTRACTION WORK

LAW OF ATTRACTION

My first experience was the movie called “The Secret”, which claims that the Law of Attraction holds up with metaphysicalDOES LAW ATTRACTION WORK research and this is explained in the movie. The metaphysical is a topic worth exploring as it brings body, mind and spirit out into the light and this knowledge is well worth having.

I watched the movie with an open mind, was prepared to learn more about our brains and science, then decided to get my feet wet and give it a try. How can we accumulate knowledge without getting out of our comfort zones, having a go and making our own informed decision?

QUICK FIX? GET RICH QUICK? NO! NO! NO!

Most people interpret The Law of Attraction will bring us what we desire by simply visualising and thinking our way to instant gratification. I was guilty of this for a while. It wasn’t long before common sense prevailed and I realised it would take magic to turn my life from rags to riches overnight.

Norman Vincent Peal’s book “Think and Grow Rich” requires effort, action and consistency to change our mindsets from a negative one to a positive one to reap the rewards.

IDEAS FOR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

The ideas presented here will probably not be what you expected. Read to the end and be surprised like I was when I discovered them. I wasted over half of my life in a mediocre mindset and regrettably I can’t get that back.

INSTANT GRATIFICATION/QUESTION THE SOCIAL NORMS

The practice of instant gratification has the masses jumping into unnecessary debt and gimme gimme mindsets. The normIDEAS FOR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT says it is okay to take a $700,000+ mortgage over a 4 bedroom, 2-3 bathrooms, 2 garages home with all the bells and whistles like swimming pool, big screen TV, the latest floor coverings and furniture. In my opinion this is not okay.

This action immediately locks people into a mediocre lifestyle working a boring lifelong job (Just Over Broke) usually working for a boss to repay the mortgage. Is this action a healthy wise decision? No, it is not, however the social norms approves and encourages this behaviour.

At this point in my rhetoric, I would suggest the brave, courageous people who realise their mistake, would sell the big mansion and downsize to a basic smaller version and immediately reduce their mortgage by half. Sound radical? No, take the emotion out of it and it is plain common sense isn’t it? Start small and build up. I ask you, why live with the mistake? There’s no time like the now to start again. COMMON AND FAMILIAR MINDSET

We typically go about our lives with a stagnant mindset that has developed from childhood. This mindset is training to giveALTERED STATE OF CONSCIOUSNESS DEFINITION us a mediocre lifestyle. The lifestyle our parents and most of the people we know and associate with believe we need to study to get a formal education which will give us the skills to pursue our best job opportunities. Do you agree?

Unfortunately the masses pursue this path, pretty well working until the day they die, in order to put food on the table and provide for our families as best we can. We are not remotely aware of any other way, the how to create and pursue an abundant free lifestyle. This is not your fault. Sad isn’t it?

Occasionally, people spend a moment or two thinking there must be a better way, have no idea where to start and the healthy thoughts drift away. Has this happened to you?

WHAT IS EMOTIONALLY DETACHED

Put simply it is a state of mind where we witness life rather than reacting to life. Now that’s not hard to understand or is it? Let’s explore how to emotionally detach from life’s events shall we?

WHAT IS EMOTIONAL ATTACHMENT/AUTOMATIC REACTION

Let’s first be clear on what emotional attachment is, in order to undo it. Wouldn’t it be great to have one of those UNDO buttons. Press the button “poof” gone!

We can be emotionally attached to our pets, special plants, friends, kids, money, lovers, family, precious memories, homes,WHAT IS EMOTIONALLY DETACHED cars, all of our possessions, all of our favourite things, winning and even our thoughts like possessing our goals, she’s so perfect, he is a hunk and the list goes on.

In fact these attachments are very like addictions. We desire them so much we imagine we can’t live without them and should we lose any of them we feel differing levels of sadness. Notice here we are reacting to loss. An extreme example is loosing our home and everything in it to fire, flood or some natural disaster.

To easily discover our attachments, ask ourselves if we lost “it” and experienced any level of sadness, we were surely attached to it.

Unfortunately, the consequence of being addicted/attached to anything is we give the attachment power over us and they basically control our lives. Another consequence is often what we are so attached to will leave or allude us. Sad but true!

WHAT IS EMOTIONALLY DETACHED/BEING A WITNESS
